From April 24 to 26 this year we had the opportunity to take part in the international robotics competition RoboTec, held in Timișoara. This year Proton was represented by three teams competing in the Robo Combat, LineFollower Classic and Freestyle categories.

During the three days of the competition we had the chance to test our robots and knowledge against very strong competition, but also to meet a large number of students, engineers and robotics enthusiasts from different parts of the world — from Romania all the way to the USA. Besides the competitive part itself, RoboTec gave us the opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas and to learn about the interesting projects of other teams.

We are especially glad to have been part of an event that brings together young people with a shared desire for learning, innovation and the development of technology.
