Members of the student organization Proton once again showed initiative, knowledge and team spirit by taking part in the international hackathon UniHack, held in Timișoara from November 14 to 16 this year.

UniHack brings together students from different countries and fields, giving them the opportunity to work on real problems within a limited timeframe and develop innovative software solutions. During the hackathon, participants had the chance to work with mentors from the industry, exchange ideas with their peers and test their technical and organizational skills.

Our faculty and organization were represented at this event by as many as two teams — Proton ETF 1 and Proton ETF 2.

The project of our first team was VolutHere — a platform for citizens, organizations and companies aimed at connecting volunteers and tracking their previous experience. Our second team developed the CityBuzz app, which serves to easily organize events and network with friends, or at the city level. Both of these projects are available on our GitHub account!

Congratulations to the Proton ETF 1 and Proton ETF 2 teams on their participation, and we look forward to their future successes!
