Trips

Three teams represented Proton at the international robotics competition RoboTec, held in Timișoara starting April 24 this year. The teams successfully built and showcased their robots on the Robo Combat, LineFollower Classic and Freestyle tracks.

At the international software hackathon UniHack, held in Timișoara from November 14 to 16, 2025, our organization was represented by 2 teams. One project was VolutHere - a platform for citizens, organizations and companies aimed at connecting volunteers and tracking their previous experience. The other was the CityBuzz app, which serves to easily organize events and network with friends, or at the city level. Both of these projects are available on our GitHub account!

Members of the student organization Proton won their first international award - 3rd place on the Freestyle track at the RoboTec competition! It was held in Timișoara on May 24, 2025, and our team presented a light follower robot that autonomously moves by following a light source or avoiding it.
